De rondes worden gepland op basis van het gemiddelde verbruik, niet op basis van de werkelijke voorraadniveaus. Het resultaat is bij alle exploitanten welbekend:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vrachtwagens die halfvol vertrekken;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>klanten die het druk hebben en dringend bellen;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>mijlen die voor niets zijn afgelegd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Telemetrie<\/strong> verandert deze situatie doordat elke tank van een afstand zichtbaar wordt.<\/p>\n<p>Voor onze podcast sprak Fran\u00e7ois Cl\u00e9ment, Sales Director bij FOUR DATA, met Oliver McCarthy, General Manager van <a href=\"https:\/\/rochestersensorseurope.com\/\"><strong>Tekelek<\/strong> (Rochester Sensors Group)<\/a>, een bedrijf dat meer dan 6,5 miljoen sensoren in gebruik monitort. Een sensor verzamelt de gegevens ter plaatse, een netwerk stuurt deze door naar de cloud, en de operator kan zijn volledige machinepark in de gaten houden zonder zich te hoeven verplaatsen. <\/p>\n<p>Oliver McCarthy vat de werking eenvoudig samen: gegevens ophalen van een apparaat op afstand \u2013 een brandstof-, gas- of chemicali\u00ebntank \u2013 en deze naar de cloud verzenden. Neem bijvoorbeeld een exploitant met <strong>tien vrachtwagens<\/strong> op de weg, die <strong>vijfduizend tanks<\/strong> bedient. Door zoveel mogelijk van deze tanks van een sensor te voorzien, krijgt hij inzicht in zijn volledige veldvloot.  <\/p>\n<p>En dankzij dit inzicht kan hij vaak <strong>een vrachtwagen uit zijn wagenpark halen<\/strong>. Telemetrie wordt zo een instrument voor bedrijfsoptimalisatie, en niet alleen maar een meetinstrument op afstand. <\/p>\n<p>Dit is precies wat het <a href=\"https:\/\/fourdata.io\/nl\/solutions\/perrons\/#desk\"><strong>Desk-platform<\/strong><\/a> van FOUR DATA doet: het centraliseert de vulniveaus van alle tanks in een wagenpark en stelt prioriteiten voor de rondes op basis van de daadwerkelijke urgentie. Deze markten bereiken nu een zekere mate van verzadiging. Oliver McCarthy noemt <strong>twee groeifactoren<\/strong>, die beide aansluiten bij de prioriteiten van FOUR DATA.  <\/p>\n<p>Ten eerste zijn er <strong>chemische stoffen<\/strong>. Een met chemische stoffen gevulde IBC-container kan enkele honderdduizenden euro\u2019s waard zijn: de economische argumenten voor het monitoren ervan zijn veel sterker dan voor een stookolietank. Ten tweede is er<strong>het milieu<\/strong> \u2013 water, afvalwater, septic tanks \u2013 waarvoor een Europese verordening die momenteel in voorbereiding is, zou kunnen voorschrijven dat bepaalde installaties moeten worden gemonitord.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-13\"><div class=\"fd-callout fd-callout-note\">\n<p><strong>Opmerking<\/strong><br \/>\n: Hoe hoger de waarde van het bewaakte object, hoe groter de noodzaak van toezicht. Een <strong>IBC-container voor chemische stoffen<\/strong> ter waarde van enkele honderdduizenden euro\u2019s verandert de winstgevendheidsberekening ingrijpend in vergelijking met een eenvoudige stookolietank. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-14\"><p>FOUR DATA is al actief op deze gebieden en houdt toezicht op smeermiddelen, AdBlue en industri\u00eble vloeistoffen, begeleidt afvalverwerking en methanisatie, en <strong>monitort waterstof<\/strong>. Een sensor die hiervan afhankelijk is, zal dan niet meer werken: controleer v\u00f3\u00f3r de implementatie of uw apparatuur is gebaseerd op toekomstbestendige technologie\u00ebn. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-17\"><p>Oliver McCarthy is van mening dat satellietverbindingen voor dit soort toepassingen op termijn mobiele netwerken zullen vervangen.
