IoT sensors for measuring, monitoring and locating your equipmentts
At Four Data, we design robust and accurate IoT sensors for monitoring the levels, status and location of equipment and containers, whether stationary or mobile. Our solutions enable the measurement of liquids, gases or solids in industrial, agricultural or logistics environments. Connected to Four Data platforms, our sensors transform field data into actionable insights to anticipate, manage and optimise day-to-day operations.
Rugged and accurate sensors for all your needs
A range designed to last
Our sensors are designed to withstand the rigours of the field: harsh weather conditions, demanding industrial environments and remote installations.
Multi-network connectivity
Four Data sensors are compatible with the main low-bandwidth IoT networks, ensuring extensive coverage even in areas with poor connectivity.
Remote monitoring (DESK & SENS)
The data collected is automatically transmitted to the Four Data platforms for simple and effective remote monitoring.
Embedded technologies
Ultrasound
Ultrasonic technology works by emitting a sound wave to measure the distance between the sensor and the surface of the product. It is particularly well suited to above-ground tanks containing liquids such as fuels, lubricants or water, in environments where space is limited.

Underground tanks
Industrial liquids
Pressure
Pressure measurement involves analysing the pressure exerted by the column of liquid at the bottom of the tank. This technology is ideal for underground or hard-to-access tanks and offers excellent accuracy for fuels, oils and other industrial liquids.
Radar
Radar technology uses electromagnetic waves to measure level without coming into contact with the product. It is particularly well suited to solids, waste or heterogeneous materials, and remains reliable in environments exposed to dust, deposits or changing conditions.

Ratiometric (Rochester / gas)
Ratiometric technology enables the mechanical reading of the position of an existing gauge of the Rochester, Cotrako, Rotarex SRG, Cavagna or similar type. It is used for monitoring liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in tanks and is notable for its high compatibility with standard equipment in the gas sector.
Pulse (meters)
Pulse reading involves counting the signals emitted by a meter for each unit consumed, expressed in litres, cubic metres or kilowatt-hours. This technology is suitable for gas, water and industrial fluid meters, enabling accurate monitoring of consumption.

Compatibility & environments
Recommended environment and technology
Use cases & sectors
Energy & fuels
Supply disruptions and emergency deliveries make managing energy stocks more challenging. Four Data sensors enable accurate monitoring of fuel levels. Operators can anticipate demand, optimise routes and reduce logistics costs.
Lubricants & oils
Lubricant consumption is often poorly measured and difficult to predict. Sensors provide a constant overview of available stock levels. Replenishment is automated, minimising production downtime and excess stock.
Waste & the environment
Fixed collection rounds result in unnecessary journeys and overflowing bins. Sensors measure fill levels remotely. Collections are triggered at the right time, reducing costs and environmental impact.
Gas & GPL
Monitoring gas tanks requires precision and safety. Dedicated sensors ensure reliable level readings. Operators can safeguard supply, improve planning and comply with regulatory requirements.
Rental & logistics
The management of mobile equipment often lacks visibility regarding its condition and location. Sensors that combine level and location monitoring provide comprehensive oversight. Organisations can optimise the use of their assets and improve profitability.
Agriculture / livestock farming
Agricultural silos and storage facilities are difficult to monitor remotely. Four Data sensors enable continuous monitoring of stored volumes. Farmers can plan restocking in advance and ensure business continuity.
Installation & commissioning
